Dr. K.G.Remani retired Joint Director, AHD, passed away following a sudden illness on 08/09/2011.She belongs to the 1972 batch of COVAS Mannuthy. She retired as DAHO, Kannur. After her retirement she was engaged in animal welfare activities and ran an animal orphanage at Kattaikonam, Thiruvananthapuram. She is survived by her husband and two sons. May her soul rest in peace.

Dr.S.Mohan,Retired Senior Veterinary Surgeon,Kozhikode expired on 14-7-2011.He was undergoing treatment for the past one month,in Baby memorial Hospital, Kozhikode.He is survived by his wife, Dr.Geetha K. R.,Senior Veterinary Surgeon ,VPC, Perambra and two children.The body was cremated at Mavoor Road,Kozhikode by 4.30 PM.MAY THE DEPARTED SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Dr.Radhakrishnan,(45),Veterinary Surgeon,Chingoli,Alappuzha passed away on 31.10.09 following a road accident at Kanichukulangara.A graduate of the COVAS,Mannuthy,he worked as Veterinary Surgeon at various places in Alappuzha District.He is survived by his wife, Smt.Sasikala Agri.Officer,Thakazhy)and Kum.Bhagyalakshmi, a school kid. The IVA Dist:Unit condoled the sad demise of Dr. Radhakrishnan,at a meeting held at Alappuzha,on 3.11.09.

Prof.Dr.V.Sudharsanan (72)expired on 24/11/09 and was cremated on 25/11/09 at 9 am at Vadookara, Trissur.He passed away at Mission Hospital, Trissur.He is survived by his wife,Chandrika and son,Renjith and daughter,Anitha.He was a very active personality even during his retired age and held many office bearer posts in the residential Association,pensioners’association and in the SNDP.

Dr.N.K.Muraleedharan (1958 batch) passed away on 4-8-09.The funeral was held at Tripunithara,Ernakulam.He is survived by his wife, Lila Murali and sons Midhun Kumar and Dr Chindhu. May his soul rest in peace.

Dr. N.Kesavan Nair, Additional Director (Retd) and an alumni of Madras Veterinary College passed away on
1st August 2009 at Australia (at his son’s residence).His body was cremated at 10.30 am on 15th August 2009. May his soul rest in peace.
