The installation of district office bearers of Malappuram district was held at Ruby lounge, Malappuram on 23rd January.2020. Hon. Vice Chancellor of KVASU Dr. M.R. Saseendranath inaugurated the function and addressed the gathering. Dr. Pradeepan commemoration programme was also organised along with the inaugural session.

IVA State General Secretary Dr. Muhammed Aslam M.K. led the oath taking ceremony and Dr. P.U. Abdul Azeez sworn in as the district President and Dr. Rasim V.P. as the Secretary and Dr. Saji Thomas Thoppil as the treasurer for 2020. Dr. Haroon Abdul Rasheed, Dr. Suresh B. and Dr. Usha P. were installed as the state committee members.

Addressing the august gathering, Hon. Vice Chancellor extended his full support for the upliftment and well-being of the farmer community of the state. He also honoured 10 best young farmers of the animal husbandry sector of the district. Dr. Rani K. Ommen, District Animal Husbandry Officer honoured the retired Vets of the district and wished them a happy and healthy life ahead. Dr. Haroon Abdul Rasheed (Jt. Secretary, IVA), in his keynote address, elaborated the action plan of IVA Kerala for 2020.

Dr. Pradeepan was commemorated by his former colleagues Dr. V.K.P. Mohan Kumar and Dr. Suresh B. His contributions to the sector as well as the society were highlighted by the speakers. Dr. Anij welcomed the gathering and Dr. Ayub A., Dr. Chandran, Dr. E.V. Noufel, Dr. P.N. Ajay Kumar and Dr. K. Shaji offered felicitations. District Secretary, Dr. Rasim V.P. delivered vote of thanks.
